Research

I was the first graduate student to join the lab of Dr. James Frank at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). My thesis project involved synthesizing and applying light-activatable chemical tools to better understand the role of lipid signaling in pancreatic beta-cells, a key cell type in diabetes.
