In 2025 I began freelance writing for the diaTribe Foundation. In this role, I break down current scientific literature to either update articles or create novel content for people with diabetes, their family and caregivers. I contribute to ~1 article per month.
Personal Experience

In 2026, I completed my first marathon! I wrote about my experience as a runner with T1D, and how my training over time transformed my relationship with my diabetes. The full article can be found here – A Reflection on My Running Journey: From Fear to Empowerment.

Advocacy

In 2025 I was selected as the UCSF Postdoctoral representative to attend the Rally for Medical Research in Washington D.C. I met directly with members of congress to share my narrative as a patient-researcher and advocated for continued investment in medical research. Learn more here.
